As you may have heard, Google will stop collecting data with Universal Analytics and will instead use Google Analytics 4, their new analytics service, starting on July 1st, 2023. As your uConnect engagement data is powered by Google, we’ve been working behind the scenes for the past year to ensure that we’re prepared for this transition, and are happy to report that as of June 26th, 2023, you’ll have access to GA4 data in your uConnect dashboard!
A couple key things to note about this transition
- You will still have access to your historical data under a new ‘Legacy Reports’ menu option within your Engagement Insights dashboard.
- We started collecting data using GA4 in November of 2022, so your new reports will look back that far as well. Any insights you’d like to see of engagement prior to November, should be referenced using the ‘Legacy Reports’ section of your dashboard, mentioned above.
