Enabling easy search and discovery of job trend data.
If you’re already using our Labor Market Insights (LMI) module, you know how valuable it is to pipe job trend data into your virtual career center to inform students’ career exploration. (If you’re not using it yet, you can learn more about the module, here). This tool was designed to make search and discovery of job trend data seamless, by providing both industry and occupation categories, in addition to keyword search as options to pinpoint pathways of interest and see related data, as seen below:
Easier search, now available in LMI widgets!
Now, we’re happy to announce that both search workflows are supported for your Labor Market Insight widgets as well! Previously, widgets only supported filtering by selecting industry and occupation categories, but we’ve extended functionality to include keyword search as well! You can choose to facilitate search by either method alone, or both together, depending on your preference. Keyword search will allow your users to type in any word, and see a list of related professions from across all industries.
