Our New Year’s Resolution?
To help you engage your stakeholders like never before — and we’re starting off by releasing a new and improved layout for your automated alerts. This new layout clearly separates out your unique content types, and seamlessly accommodates for content with and without images and in a more consistent, and visually appealing format. For events specifically, we’ve removed featured images since this isn’t a required field for adding an event, and is often excluded in event integrations.
We’ve also updated the layout for different types of content, like events, to more intentionally highlight the information that matters for each unique type of opportunity. Additionally, we can now customize the color of the hot link buttons at the top of your alerts much faster than before! If you need to make a change, we can help right away without any lead time from our development team. Just reach out to support@gouconnect.com and we can change them for you.
A few tips…
- The hot links buttons are optimized for small amounts of text so that they appear concise on mobile view. Make sure you keep your button text short and sweet! Think 20 characters or less.
- If you’ve set up your alerts to feature all content types, we recommend a max of 2 pieces of content per content type, to ensure that if 2 of each are pulled into someone’s alert, the alert doesn’t get cut off in their browser.
